Journal Policy
Editorial Policy
The journal is dedicated to publishing high-quality, original, and scientifically rigorous research that contributes to the advancement of medical, clinical, biomedical, pharmaceutical, public health, and allied health sciences. The journal welcomes original research articles, review articles, case reports, short communications, editorials, and other scholarly contributions that fall within its scope.
All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial evaluation to assess their relevance, originality, scientific quality, ethical compliance, and adherence to journal guidelines. Manuscripts considered suitable for publication proceed to peer review. Editorial decisions are based exclusively on scientific merit, methodological soundness, originality, significance of findings, and clarity of presentation. The editorial team maintains complete independence and ensures that decisions are not influenced by commercial interests, institutional affiliations, nationality, ethnicity, gender, religion, or political beliefs.
Editors are responsible for maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record, preserving confidentiality, managing conflicts of interest, and ensuring a transparent and fair publication process. The journal reserves the right to reject manuscripts that fail to meet scientific, ethical, or editorial standards.
Reviewer Policy
The journal employs a double-blind peer-review system to ensure an unbiased and objective evaluation process. Under this system, the identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential throughout the review process. Manuscripts are reviewed by independent experts who possess appropriate subject knowledge and research expertise.
Reviewers are expected to provide constructive, objective, and evidence-based assessments of submitted manuscripts. Reviews should evaluate originality, scientific validity, methodology, ethical compliance, statistical analysis, interpretation of results, significance of findings, and overall presentation. Reviewers should identify relevant published work not cited by the authors and alert editors to any concerns regarding plagiarism, duplicate publication, data manipulation, or ethical misconduct.
Reviewers must treat all manuscripts as confidential documents and must not use unpublished information for personal advantage. Any conflicts of interest that may affect the review process must be disclosed immediately. The final decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection remains the responsibility of the editorial team.
Copyright Policy
Authors retain the copyright of their published work. Upon acceptance and publication, authors grant the journal the right to publish, distribute, archive, and preserve the article. Published articles are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0).
Under this license, readers and users may copy, distribute, transmit, adapt, and build upon the work for any lawful purpose, including commercial use, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and source. Authors retain the right to share, deposit, and disseminate their published articles through institutional repositories, personal websites, academic networking platforms, and other lawful channels.
The journal supports the broad dissemination of scientific knowledge while ensuring proper attribution and protection of author rights.
Open Access Statement
The journal follows a full open-access publishing model, ensuring that all published content is freely and immediately available to readers worldwide without subscription fees or access restrictions. The journal believes that unrestricted access to scientific knowledge promotes greater dissemination of research findings, enhances scholarly communication, and supports global scientific progress.
Readers may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to, and use the full text of published articles without prior permission from the publisher or authors, provided that appropriate attribution is given. Open access enhances visibility, accessibility, citation potential, and the overall impact of scholarly research.
Ethical Statement
The journal is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and research integrity. Authors, reviewers, editors, and publishers are expected to adhere to internationally accepted ethical principles throughout the publication process.
Research involving human participants must be conducted in accordance with recognized ethical standards and should include approval from an appropriate ethics committee or institutional review board. Informed consent must be obtained from participants whenever applicable. Research involving animals must comply with relevant animal welfare regulations and ethical guidelines.
The journal expects honesty, transparency, accountability, and responsible conduct in all aspects of research and publication. Ethical concerns identified before or after publication will be investigated appropriately and may result in corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions when necessary.

The journal respects the privacy of authors, reviewers, editors, and readers. Personal information collected through manuscript submission, peer review, publication, and website registration processes is used solely for legitimate journal operations and communication.
The journal implements appropriate technical and administrative measures to safeguard personal data against unauthorized access, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Personal information is processed in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection regulations.

The journal may use aggregated, anonymized information for statistical analysis and service improvement. Users have the right to request correction or updating of personal information maintained by the journal where applicable.
Research Misconduct Policy
The journal maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward research misconduct. Research misconduct includes, but is not limited to, fabrication of data, falsification of results, plagiarism, duplicate publication, citation manipulation, image manipulation, unethical experimentation, undisclosed conflicts of interest, inappropriate authorship practices, and deliberate misrepresentation of research findings.
Allegations of misconduct may be raised by authors, reviewers, editors, readers, institutions, or other stakeholders. All allegations will be assessed fairly, confidentially, and objectively. The journal may request explanations, original data, ethics approvals, and supporting documentation during investigations.
Where misconduct is confirmed, appropriate actions may include manuscript rejection, publication correction, retraction, publication of notices, notification of affiliated institutions, and restriction of future submissions.
Data Availability Statement
The journal encourages transparency and reproducibility in research. Authors are encouraged to make the data supporting their findings publicly available whenever ethically and legally permissible. Manuscripts should include a Data Availability Statement indicating where the supporting data can be accessed, the conditions for access, or the reasons why data sharing is restricted.
Authors may deposit datasets in recognized public repositories, institutional repositories, or other reliable data-sharing platforms. When requested by editors or reviewers, authors should provide supporting data for verification of research findings. Exceptions may apply to confidential, proprietary, or sensitive information.
Plagiarism Policy
The journal is committed to publishing original scholarly work and maintaining academic integrity. All submitted manuscripts undergo plagiarism screening using recognized plagiarism-detection software before peer review and may be re-evaluated at any stage of the publication process.
Plagiarism includes direct copying, paraphrasing without proper citation, self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, data plagiarism, image plagiarism, and unauthorized use of intellectual property. Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their submissions and proper acknowledgment of all sources.
Manuscripts found to contain unacceptable levels of plagiarism may be rejected immediately. If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the journal may issue corrections, expressions of concern, or article retractions depending on the severity of the violation.
Conflict of Interest Policy
Transparency regarding potential conflicts of interest is essential to maintaining trust in scholarly publishing. Authors, reviewers, editors, and editorial board members must disclose any financial, professional, institutional, personal, or other relationships that could influence or appear to influence their responsibilities.
Examples include research funding, employment, consultancy arrangements, stock ownership, patents, honoraria, advisory roles, or personal relationships that may affect objectivity. Disclosed conflicts will be evaluated by the editorial office and managed appropriately to ensure impartial decision-making and scientific integrity.
Archiving and Preservation Policy
The journal is committed to ensuring the permanent preservation and accessibility of published scholarly content. All published articles are archived through reliable digital preservation services, including PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) and Internet Archive, to safeguard the scholarly record against technological failures, platform changes, or journal discontinuation.
In addition to external archiving services, the journal maintains routine backups of article files, metadata, website content, and associated records. These measures help ensure long-term accessibility, discoverability, and preservation of published research for future generations of researchers and readers.
AI Content Policy
The journal recognizes the increasing use of artificial intelligence technologies in research and scholarly communication. Authors may use AI-assisted tools for language editing, grammar correction, formatting assistance, literature organization, and other supportive tasks. However, AI tools cannot be listed as authors because they cannot assume responsibility for the content, accuracy, integrity, or ethical compliance of a manuscript.
Authors must disclose any significant use of AI tools during manuscript preparation. Such disclosure should describe the nature and extent of AI assistance. Authors remain fully responsible for verifying all content generated or assisted by AI systems, including text, data interpretation, references, tables, figures, and conclusions.
The use of AI for data fabrication, image manipulation, creation of misleading information, generation of false citations, or other unethical practices is strictly prohibited.
